Connect with Life FOR OTHERS

“Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” Philippians 2:3-4

The Christian life is about receiving grace from God through life IN Christ & then extending it to Others through life ON Mission. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:15 that Jesus died so that we’d no longer live for ourselves but for Him. Did you get that? Jesus was willing to die, so that you wouldn’t go down the dead end road of living for yourself. How do I connect with life FOR OTHERS?

Two Marks of Life Lived FOR OTHERS

  • The One Another’s. “I don’t have to go to church to be a Christian.” True (click here to find out how to become a Christian). But you do need to be connected with others in order to be an obedient Christian. There are literally 100’s of verses that simply can’t be followed unless you are connected with other Christians. Check out a few HERE. (Link)
  • Family Groups. The common denominator of Christianity is RELATIONSHIPS. Relationships built around an open Bible & Relationships built around ministry & mission. Both are accomplished through our Family Groups. Click Here for a list of where groups are currently meeting. Also, check out some video testimonies from Bridgers about the importance of Small Groups, click here.
Grace & giving are etymologically connected words. We can hardly extend grace without generosity & giving of ourselves. One way we do this is through the habit of giving as an act of worship. Check out this e-booklet called Common Questions’s About Giving & Tithing. (LINK)

  • You can give through Bridge Church in person on Sunday’s, Online (link), or through your bank’s bill pay options or bank draft.
